Colorado Macros

I am currently developing and using the following three GSAK macros for the Garmin Colorado.

  • ColoradoExport: Macro to select and export up to 2000 geocaches to export to the Colorado.
  • ColoradoImport: Import Field Notes from the geocache_visits.txt file similar to CacheMate import.
  • ColoradoGPXManager: A tool to help manage multiple GPX files exported to the Colorado.

The vision (initially conceived through dialog with lignumaqua) is to merge all the functions into a single:

Garmin Colorado Command Centre

I think that's still a ways off - but for now, I'm Paperless Caching all in a single, waterproof unit which has amazing maps, and can carry up to 2000 caches at a time. There are definitely still some items of concern and need for improvement. More on those in my next update!
